Challenge
A client was implementing an e-commerce platform what required integration with their existing SAP system for order to cash and material master transactions.
Solution
Our team participated in a scoping workshop with business and IT stakeholders to design data feeds based on business requirements.11 interfaces were designed, documented, tested and delivered as part of the projects. TIBCO was the middleware that was used to connect SAP to the e-commerce platform.
Scope
The following interfaces were implemented as part of the agreed Global design
Material Master:
Provides “Product catalog and information”
Customer Master
Fetch customer master data from SAP which are new and updated
List Price Interface:
This interface providing “Product list price”
Price Check/Contract Price
Simulates the order and display the confirmed quantity, availability and price
information on e-commerce portal by checking on SAP
Order Simulation
Simulates the order and display the confirmed quantity, availability and price
information on e-commerce portal by checking on SAP
Order Creation/Submission
Create a Sales Order in SAP from e-commerce and is dependent on a successful
Sales Order simulation. After the order is placed successfully, interface will
return SAP order numbers `
Order List
View Sales Orders in e-commerce portal retrieved from SAP basis selection criteria
Order Detail
View a selected Sales Order detail on e-commerce portal retrieved from SAP
Invoice List
View Invoices in e-commerce portal retrieved from SAP basis selection criteria
Invoice Detail
